Hab noch was nettes gefunden:

This comprehensive Guide comes to you courtesy of the official Battlefield 1942 Website:

Land Vehicles

When driving the tank, take out foot soldiers with your co-axial machine gun by clicking on your right mouse button. This allows you to fire the machine gun without exposing yourself to return fire.

Damage takes armor and angle into account, so shoot tanks from the sides or behind at a perpendicular (90 degree) angle to maximize inflicted damage. But remember, shooting at the frontal armor will only cause minimum damage.

Artillery can fire further than any other vehicle. Use the increased range to disrupt enemy movement from safe distances and use snipers to scout enemy units.

Remember to use [C] or [F] keys to change views while in vehicles. Use them to occasionally look behind you when in vehicles, especially tanks. Tanks can be destroyed with one good shot from the rear.

The scout car can be used as a bomb if driven correctly. Just aim it at a tank or other target and hit the accelerator. Don’t forget to jump out before you hit. You can also run over infantry if you’re going fast enough.

The APC will heal and resupply you if you sit in the back.

Be careful driving over rough terrain, if you’re going too fast you can damage your vehicle.

You can drive over landmines if you go slow enough. Of course you’re a sitting duck while you navigate this way.

Air Vehicles

Zoom and Scoop -- This maneuver is for when you're in a dive-bomber and have an empty backseat. Fly very, very close to a ground-based teammate. Have your teammate hold down the enter vehicle key [E]. If your teammate is close enough, they will pop into the rear seat of the bomber for a quick getaway.

This is really useful in CAPTURE THE FLAG games

Drop torpedoes from planes at a low altitude or they might go under the ship you are targeting.

Use the [F9] key to toggle your plane's HUD (heads-up display) on/off. You can fly planes with arrow keys (as default) instead of mouse.

If your plane is about to crash, hit [E] to eject and [9] to open your parachute.

Planes are probably the deadliest vehicles in the game. They can blow up tanks with one well-placed bomb. Create your own multiplayer game and practice bombing vehicles. A good bomber is a valuable asset to any team.

Joysticks help A LOT when flying, try binding your yaw and throttle to the keyboard, but leave the roll and pitch to the joystick. Remember to stay away from the AA guns!

You can resupply your planes by flying slow and low over airfield/carrier ammo sources. You’ll know you’re near one if the ammo icon appears on your screen.

Airplanes are weakest in the engines... shoot for those in dogfights. Just a few well-placed shots can turn your opponent into scrap metal.

Watch for AA (anti-aircraft) and machineguns... they can turn your plane into swiss cheese. To avoid these, approach them from below their horizon and drop a bomb on them as a wake-up call.

The B-17 is as slow as a pig... but it can lay a devastating carpet of bombs on the ground. With two gunners to keep fighters off of you, this is a potent weapon. Your gunners can also act as paratroopers.

Infantry

Short bursts produce higher accuracy than continuously holding the FIRE key.
Firing while standing still, crouching, or prone also helps with accuracy.

Pay attention to uniforms. When you first spawn, look at your teammates',colors. Usually one team's clothes are darker than the other. Sometimes the player tags don’t show up quickly, so pay attention. DON'T KILL YOUR TEAMMATES!

When using the sniper rifle, hold the FIRE button down after you shoot to stay in zoom mode. This will allow you to see how your shot fell. When you release the FIRE button you will un-zoom and reload.

The scout can place cameras with the binoculars fire and the artillery pieces and ships can cycle through those cameras with [ALT] + FIRE.

Right mouse click when you are on foot for a slightly magnified view.

Shots are not instantaneous; depending on the distance you may need to aim in front of a moving target. Experiment to find the correct adjustment for all your weapons.

You can throw grenades a short distance with [ALT] + FIRE.

Choose your kit wisely. Just because you like sniping doesn't mean your team can survive without a medic.

Increase your grenade's distance by jumping when throwing. You can throw a grenade about a block and a half by doing this.

Learn to use the environment as cover, hide behind trees/rocks/buildings and don’t shoot until you see the whites of their eyes (you won’t give away your position, and you’ll have a better chance of getting an easy kill).

Tanks are easily outflanked by fast moving foot soldiers. Always attack tanks from the rear. Throwing grenades beneath the tank is also effective.

Land Mines are effective for closing off areas to tank and vehicle movement. Remember to tell your teammates where you place them.

Watch your ammo and health: Grenades may be great for killing enemy soldiers, but unless you're an anti-tank or engineer soldier, they're your only weapons against enemy tanks. Remember to reload whenever you see an
ammo box and heal whenever you see a medical locker or APC.

Teamwork is your key to winning and getting a good score: Try working as an anti-tank soldier or engineer with a friendly tank. As he distracts them in the tank, you can get around them for the killer rear shot or plant some dynamite. Afterwards, you can repair your ally. If quick travel is
necessary, he can give you a ride. Type a quick message about strategy, and don't assume he heard it unless he responds.

In concentrated street battles often reloading is too slow. Try switching kits [G] with the guy you just killed!

As a medic you can also heal yourself.

When in a firefight from a distance, STAY LOW. Go prone or keep moving.

Naval Units

You cannot command enemy ships. But you can steal the airplanes off of their
carrier.

Submarines go slower under the surface so drive long distances at surface level and submerge when you spot a target.

The destroyer is your only means of sinking a submerged submarine... keep them near high-priority targets to sniff out those sneaky submariners.

Watch for the submarine’s periscope. Use radio commands to notify your team when you’ve seen it. That will give everyone a general idea of where it’s located.

The pilot of the destroyer can drop depth charges with ALT+Fire. The gunner in the rear turret can use the guns in indirect fire mode if a sniper calls for artillery.

Watch for the shallow water. The bottom will rise abruptly as you approach dry land. Try to avoid beaching your ships.

The battleship can use its guns in indirect fire mode if a sniper calls for artillery.

Ships can take a lot of pounding... but just a few torpedoes will sink you. Watch out for submarine and torpedo bombers.

All ships except the submarine have landing craft attached to them. These can be used to make landing assaults.

The ramp on the landing craft is lowered/raised using the up/down arrow keys.

Miscellaneous

Axis nametags are ALWAYS red and Allies are ALWAYS blue. Remember that.

You will see teammates in your minimap as the color of your current team:

BLUE for Ally and RED if you’re Axis.

Strategy. Don't just run, blaze away, and die. This isn't your standard first-person shooter, and that will get you killed. Think, aim, move, fall back, repair, get healed, and backup your teammates.

Man the shore batteries to keep the ships at bay.

Use 16-bit color for better framerates.

Experiment with your sound settings for a better framerate. Also see if you can use hardware acceleration.

Don't win the fight but loose the battle. Remember to focus on control points in Conquest.

Memorize and use the radio commands.

The direct route to an objective is rarely the safest; use alternate routes to achieve goals. Be sure to watch the spawn interface when you are dead, be prepared to click on a new spawn point if yours is lost, because you don't want to wait for another spawn cycle.

Choose your spawn points wisely. Examine your map before spawning, look for vehicles, and look for places that may be spawn-camped by the enemy. Do you want to defend or attack? Where is the fighting concentrated? Do you want to
join the main battle or execute a backdoor strategy of your own?

Learn how to use all the weapons at your disposal effectively. Each hand weapon and vehicle has strengths and weaknesses.

Try your best to respond to your teammates' radio commands. If you're an anti-tank soldier and you hear a request for anti-tank support, look at your minimap and see who's talking -- they’ll flash yellow.

If in a conquest game and the spawn point aren't changing flags, look around for the enemy who might be nearby preventing it.

Keep your eyes open. Snipers, landmines, expacks, and artillery are silent killers. ALWAYS look out for these.

Vary your class to fit the situation. If the enemy is not using tanks, don't play an anti-tank all the time. If your team is mostly on foot, be a medic and heal them. If your team is in tanks, be an engineer and fix them. Supporters are every bit as important as attackers and defenders.

If you catch an enemy from behind at a distance, don't shoot right away -- you may miss and alert him to your presence. Close in a bit and make it a sure thing.

Empty vehicles that are nearby will appear on your minimap as gray icons. If one of these disappears abruptly, you know an enemy has jumped into it.

Und das hier:

Having scoured the net, i discovered a useful (but anonymous) post in a forum. I have incorporated some of these tactics into this guide with my own ideas.

Infantry out in the open should try to keep moving if you feel you are in an exposed position. That's because the net lag favours someone who's always strafing left and right. If the enemy has a high ping, moving around will make you near impossible to hit with a gun.

Likewise, try to wait until the enemy is stationary (or you are very close) before you empty your clip on them. Your success rate will jump dramatically. If you have a great connection then this is not as much a problem.

Memorize all the healthstations/ammoboxes on the map. Visit them often (don't bother asking for health from a medic on Wake...just find a station. It's quicker).

Remember how to lower the gate on the Higgins boats (default - UP ARROW). Your teammates will thank you (PS- it's hatchup / hatchdown in the control menu, and you have to be driving the boat to use it). If you are a passenger on the boat, man the mounted machinegun (it's position 2, and don't fire it unless you have a target as it will give your away your position)

Snipers (scout class) should try not to use their gun too much, unless you have a great connection or are on a LAN. It will just frustrate you because you won't have much success shooting anything other than a stationary target. Use your binoculars instead to call in an artillery strike (make sure someone else on your team knows how to use your strike request).

When you hit the fire key with the binoculars, it will send the coordinates you are looking at to your team (via a camera image). If anyone is using a battery or deck cannons, they can hit alt-fire and view the site you have designated. Then they walk their fire up to the site, adjusting as needed. A good example of this would be using the scout to call a Japanese strike on the allied planes, which can be hit from the guns on the jap cruiser.

Use the jeep to kamikaze, so long as you don't need it to get anywhere. It is the ultimate tank-buster. Make sure you jump out before it hits or you're toast. DO use the jeep to run over enemy troops. DO use the jeep to trasport your troops to the front line (just warn them first if you plan on a kamikaze run).

Make sure you choose the engineer class if you plan on manning the boats guns. You can heal your boat if it takes damage.

Make sure you fire AA in front of the plane, not at it. The idea is to create a debris field (the flak) in front of the plane that it will fly into to cause damage. Use the AA in a tight spot to blow up vehicles, but aim well because the shell has no splash damage (unless it explodes in the air). If you see troops encroaching on you...run.

Set your joystick up to fly the plane. You will have better control. Try to use a twisty stick or pedals so you will have good rudder control. Once in the plane, hit F9 to get rid of the cockpit(assuming nose-can is ON). Yes, it's cheesy, but you will see more of what's below you, which will help greatly with bomb drops. Make sure before you enter a plane that your throttle is set at 100%, because unlike in a flight sim, having your throttle at 0% is really -100% in this game, and you will go backwards and likely crash. Setting your throttle at 50% is really 0% in this game.

Remember that when you are in the air. It could explain your repeated stalls. (BTW, if you want the best combat flight sim, get yourself IL-2 Sturmovik. You won't be sorry, and it'll hone your skills greatly)

Please pay attention to the status of the game as a whole(IE- Look at your mini-map and team lives left). If your team has capped a base, you can stop firing the deck cannons at it :) If your team has no spawn points left, get out of your plane (hit the enter/exit key and then hit the parachute -9- key) and cap a remote base.

If you're already on foot, get off the main road (run by the shore if you can), get to an empty base and cap it. Your teammates will thank you.

Stop chasing your tail. You find in some games that bases are being capped on a rotational basis, going clockwise or anticlockwise. This is because you aren't defending bases when they are captured. Take time to hold a lonely outpost, even if it means feeling "out of the game" for a couple of minutes. Soon enough you will be in charge of defending a lonely outpost from a bunch of marauders.

The health recharge points offer the player a devious cheat. If you stand by them under fire, it takes a lot longer to kill you.

If you get used to driving Tanks, go engineer class. This way you won't have to rely upon an engineer to fix it when it's broken. I have spent minutes summoning a repair for my tank only to be met with silence. This should improve over time, but for now, fix it yourself.

Seperate the Aircraft Carrier from the Destroyer. This tactic should only be employed with awareness of gun emplacements. Both ships spawn in view of the two northern Batteries. They are vulnerable to a lot of fire from there. If you spawn on a ship, get it to one side of the guns, so that only one can hit the ship. If the boats are well manned, then you shouldn't need to worry about them. The tactic is devised to slow down the destruction of static ships.

Work with a decent player (someone your own skill level). Search him/her out on the map (as you trundle around) and jump into their vehicle, or ask them into yours. When you hit combat, get out of the gun emplacement of a vehicle and seperate. On most occassions, it is better to give the enemy two targets, as it confuses them. A tank will not want to focus its fire upon another tank if it believes an engineer is coming up behind it to plant explosives.

If you can, get behind a friendly tank during combat (as engineer), and patch away. Get out of there when you have run out of spanner power!

The quickest way to capture an emeny base is to fly there. It also has the benefit of giving you an ariel view of the terrain. Don't bother parachuting into an ants nest of enemy. Simply fly to a remote base which has a tank, or some other beneficial tool there. Eject at height. Use the map to note when you are over the base, then press USE and then parachute (9). You have to wait a second or two before the chute opens....oh believe me, you do. SPLAT

Und auch das:

BF-Central were nice enough to do a little write up of the many console commands for the newly released Multiplayer demo. As far as i can see, it is more of a tool for server admins. But there are FPS commands and other little tweaks.

ACCESSING THE CONSOLE

To access the console in Battlefield 1942, you need to use the " ~ " tidle key. It is located just above your "Tab Key", this will drop down your console in game where you can enter the specific commands listed below.

SERVER COMMANDS

Game.listplayers
Every player has an ID number, which is used for kicking/voting off the player. This command lists those numbers.

Game.enablefreecamera *
This enables free look mode on clients who are waiting to spawn. For *, 1 turns free look on, 0 turns it off. Note that this command can only be run from the server, or by a user that has remote server access.

Game.killplayer *
* is equal to the player id number. Note that this command can only be run from the server, or by a user that has remote server access.

Admin.kickplayer *
* is equal to the player id number. Note that this command can only be run from the server, or by a user that has remote server access.

Admin.banplayer *
* is equal to the player id number. Note that this command can only be run from the server, or by a user that has remote server access.

Admin.removeaddressfrombanlist *
* is equal to the IP of a banned player. Note that this command can only be run from the server, or by a user that has remote server access.

Admin.addaddresstobanlist *
* is equal to the IP address to the client that is to be banned. Note that this command can only be run from the server, or by a user that has remote
server access.

Admin.clearbanlist
This allows all users that were previously banned to once again connect to the server. Note that this command can only be run from the server, or by a user that has remote server access.

Admin.externalviews *
This command enables/disables external camera views on clients connected to the server. For *, 1 turns external views on, 0 turns it off. Note that this also disables the nose cam. Also, note that this command can only be run from the server, or by a user that has remote server access.

Admin.listbannedaddresses
Lists the IP addresses that are banned from connecting to the server. Note that this command can only be run from the server, or by a user that has remote server access.

Admin.allownosecam *
This command enables/disables the ability for clients to turn off the airplane HUD. (Allows easier flying.) For *, 1 turns nose cam on, 0 turns it off. Also note that if external views are turned off, nose cam cannot be used. Note that this command can only be run from the server, or by a user
that has remote server access.

VOTING COMMANDS

Game.votekickplayer *
This command will initiate/cast a vote to kick a player. Players on both teams can participate in this vote. * is equal to the player id number.

Game.votekickteamplayer *
This command will initiate/cast a vote to kick a player. Voting is restricted to the team of the player who initiated the vote. * is equal to the player id number.

Admin.votingtime *
This command sets the amount of time clients have to cast a vote after it has been initiated. * is equal to the number of seconds clients will have to vote. Note that this command can only be run from the server, or by a user that has remote server access.

REMOTE CONSOLE ACCESS

Admin.enableremoteadmin password
The SERVER needs to have this command executed every map. The password can include numbers OR letters, but not a combination of the two. NOTE: DO NOT INCLUDE ANY SPACES IN YOUR PASSWORD.
The CLIENT that is to have remote admin access is to execute this command.
The password must be the same as the one set on the server.

Admin.execremotecommand "command"
To execute a command from a client, one would type the
admin.execremotecommand, followed by the desired admin command in quotation marks. For example, to kick someone with the player id of 7 from a client machine, one would type the following (after going through the first two steps of this section.)

Admin.execremotecommand "admin.kickplayer 7"

OTHER HELPFUL COMMANDS

Console.showfps *
This toggles the FPS display on and off. For *, 1 turns FPS on and 0 turns
it off.

Console.showstats *
This toggles the debug stats display on and off. For *, 1 turns the debug stats display on and 0 turns it off.

Game.disconnect
This disconnects the player from the current game.

Game.changeplayername *
This allows a user to quickly change his name. * is equal to the player name.

Game.useHUD *
This will remove all your HUD except for your gun. * 0=off 1=on

Flap: 60-Hz-Problem ist das, warum bei 50% von uns das nice game nicht funktionieren wollte. Aber bei dir läuft ja alles, wie immer. Bist halt was besonderes, Flap. :)
Koston: Das Demo behandelt den CW Japan vs. USA. Ich glaube nicht, dass da Hakenkreuze eine elementare Rolle gespielt haben. *g*
